The Global Women's Project turns 10

Come celebrate with us!

If you can believe it, this month, The Global Women’s Project turns 10 years old!

Founded back in 2013 by four passionate and purpose-driven women, we are still standing a decade later, and creating impact for women alongside three incredible grassroots partners.

Whether you’ve been there since our launch event, or whether you’re brand new to the world of The Global Women’s Project, moments like these need to be celebrated — and even more so when you’re a small, volunteer-run not-for-profit.

What better way to mark our 10th birthday than by getting together for a night of heartfelt storytelling and celebration?

Over the past decade, we have had the privilege of partnering with three phenomenal grassroots organisations, and contributing to their world-changing programs that have transformed the lives of thousands of women and their families.

If it wasn’t for their dedication and commitment, and your generous support, we wouldn’t be here.

So, it’s time to get ready to share in an hour of heartfelt storytelling in collaboration with our Nepali partner — The Women’s Foundation of Nepal (WFN). Also featuring special guest appearances from our Burundian and Cambodian partners, Reavi Baho and Stung Treng Women’s Development Center (SWDC), it’s sure to be a night to remember.

Hosted by two of our co-founders, and together with many of our past volunteers, Board members and supporters, join us as we take a walk down memory lane through some of our favourite events, fundraisers and the many lessons learned along the way.

Will we see you there?

There’s no need to register or RSVP, just bring your lovely selves — and if you have a moment to whip up a snack (because of course!), might we suggest these delicious Nepalese Chai Cookies?

It’s going to be fun and festive, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Please note: The event will be recorded, so if you can’t make it live but would love to see a replay, just email info@theglobalwomensproject.com and we will send it to you shortly afterwards!
